Myself and my 12 year old son had an amazing afternoon with Amanda while on our holiday in Cornwall.
My son is just starting to show an interest in 'art' but can lack confidence with new skills. Amanda was absolutely amazing with him. She was simple, clear and supportive with her explanations of how to work with glass (and did not mind going over things again!) He had a wonderful time and is also thrilled with the outcome of his efforts.
Thank you so much for your time, expertise and care!

We had an excellent, fun and creative afternoon, and learnt so much from Amanda, who is very generous with her knowledge and encouragement. Amanda's enthusiasm is infectious and we were delighted with how much we achieved in such a short space of time. The studio is light, airy and comfortable and the cream tea delicious. Great afternoon. Wished we lived closer so we could visit again. Thank you.

My son and I had a brilliant time with Amanda in her well equipped studio. Amanda is very welcoming and encouraging. My son in particular, went from being very cautious and lacking in confidence, to skilfully cutting glass and designing his projects in a really short time - lovely to see!

What a fantastic half-day my Sister and I had at Amanda's studio!
We started with an introduction to the different types of glass and how they can be used to create different effects, followed by a demonstration of glass cutting techniques and plenty of time to practice. We then paused for a lovely cream tea, which gave us a chance to chat about what we were planning to make and how, before it was back to the studio to get stuck in!
We both made a coaster-sized piece and a larger, hanging piece, which Amanda fused for us after the workshop and then sent on. All pieces have arrived beautifully wrapped and in tact and we are so pleased with them - can't recommend this course enough!

Amanda has a lovely bright well organised studio . There is a vast range of different glass products one can use . A bit like being in a sweet shop !
In the half day I had , I made an Autumn based glass tile , using various coloured glass Frits and glass spaghetti . Also I made an book mark size hanging glass scene based on the Cornish countryside . This required glass cutting and a bit of grinding .
We had an enormous cream tea , hot scones etc !
It being the last day of my holiday , Amanda posted my work to me , beautifully wrapped and came in one piece !
