Description
During this half day workshop, you will make your own folk art mosaic picture using vintage crockery pieces and glass with various effects. Sarah will demonstrate how to safely use the tools and equipment, to cut and shape the crockery and glass. Then you can pick the colours and design the sign. Sarah will talk you through the mosaicking process of designing, arranging, gluing and grouting.
What's included in the price?
The courses are held at Glass Quarter Designs, Studio 14 on the site of the Red House Glass Cone, near Stourbridge in the heart of the Glass Quarter. You can spend some time looking around the site, glass blowing demonstrations are held weekend afternoons. There is also a coffee shop on site but tea and coffee will be provided.
