Description

Try a taster glass bead making at my studio in Berkshire for 1 or more people.. will be a good saving for the 2nd and 3rd person! Msg tutor so I can apply discount for our agreed chosen date.. Come and have addictive fun on my lamp....you will watch a demo of how to make glass beads in the flame and you will then be let loose on the torch to make your own. You spend your time playing with glass, melting and shaping it as making the beads into unique jewellery and other quirky items to take home. "Wow - what a fantastic day. Kim was so lovely and welcoming, and endlessly patient. There was something hugely satisfying about making beads, even if ours came out slightly wonky they were still gorgeous. Kim had a large range of colours for us to play with, and was happy for us to make as many beads as we could in the time. We then got to supplement our creations with Kim's own lovely stash to create all sorts of goodies, from jewellery to bookmarks, keyfobs, pens. Just a brilliant day from start to finish."

"Both Julie and I loved this course. Kim gave clear instructions and was incredibly helpful when we went slightly wrong! The time went so quickly, but we both came away with several lovely beads which we made into key rings but there were lots of options and Kim had a huge array of complimentary beads for us to use. "I had an amazing Session with Kim. I have never done this before and she was excellent at giving me careful instructions and guidance. I really got into it and really enjoyed my session. "What a brilliant afternoon! I booked this course at the last minute, just for myself because I was feeling the January blues, and was looking for a distraction. Couldn't have picked anything better! Kim is a wonderful teacher, patient and full of good humour. She is very generous with her time and advice, and with the materials. I managed to make loads of lovely glass beads, and Kim helped me to make a beautiful bead bracelet as well. I can’t recommend this course enough; I had a great time!
