What you will learn and create Make your own set of filigree tools to use during the workshop and take home. Prepare specialist filigree wire and understand how it is used in traditional metalwork. Learn three key filigree techniques, including soldering, shaping, and finishing. Complete a finished piece of silver filigree jewellery over the two-day workshop. What to bring: We’ll provide everything you will need for your Filagree Weekend Workshop, including silver and specialist tools. A sketch/notebook plus a pen/pencil for notes could come in handy for this workshop Please bring along glasses and/or a visor if you need them Wear appropriate clothing for a studio environment, including closed-toe shoes.
