Beginner’s workshop – No experience is necessary. Discover the art of adding vibrant coloUrs to jewellery in this introductory enameLling workshop. Dive into the exciting world of enameLling as you work with copper blanks. You will learn how to prepare the copper blanks, apply  enamel and add decorative glass items on your jewellery. Watch as your creations come to life in the kiln during the firing process. Join us for this engaging taster workshop and unlock the secrets of transforming metal into coloUrful works of wearable art. Your jewellery will be ready to take home at the end of the workshop. This workshop will last approximately 3 hours. If you need glasses for reading then it is advisable to have them with you during the workshop. Emine is a designer-maker of contemporary jewellery. She lives in Whitley Bay and works from her studio at the Biscuit Box Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her work often explores amalgamation of materials and techniques to achieve harmonious wearable objects. She combines traditional silversmithing techniques with metal clay techniques. She shares her love of creating jewellery with others in her silver clay workshops within her studio and at six other galleries across North East.
