Dried Flower Bauble Making Workshop at the Admiral Hardy

X

Description

Join us for a beautifully festive Christmas workshop at the welcoming Admiral Hardy in Greenwich, where you’ll learn how to create elegant dried flower Christmas baubles using real flowers that we grow, harvest, and preserve ourselves. This hands-on bauble-making workshop is designed as a calm and creative escape during the busy festive season - perfect for slowing down, making something meaningful, and enjoying time around a shared table. All of the flowers used in this workshop are grown by us and carefully dried using traditional preservation techniques. We work with seasonal blooms such as statice and dahlias, chosen for their colour, texture, and longevity once dried. During the session, we’ll share insight into our growing and drying process, explaining how flowers are preserved specifically for decorative use and how this affects colour, shape, and durability. You’ll be guided step by step through the bauble-making process, starting with choosing a colour palette before learning how to carefully layer dried flowers inside clear glass baubles. Each guest will create a set of four glass Christmas baubles, thoughtfully designed to work beautifully together while still allowing room for individuality. Every bauble is completely unique, making each finished set a truly personal keepsake. This bauble-making workshop is suitable for complete beginners - no previous experience is needed. The focus is on enjoyment, creativity, and gentle guidance rather than perfection. We provide a relaxed, supportive environment where you can take your time, ask questions, and enjoy the process as much as the finished result. Your completed baubles will be finished with luxurious green velvet ribbon and carefully packaged, ready to hang on your Christmas tree or give as beautifully handmade gifts. Designed to last for years, these decorations become a cherished part of your festive traditions and a reminder of a slow, creative moment. Hosted in the warm and welcoming setting of the Admiral Hardy in Greenwich, London, this Christmas workshop is also a lovely social evening out. Guests are welcome to arrive early or order drinks and food from the bar during the workshop, making it the perfect combination of creativity and relaxed festive indulgence. Whether you’re coming solo, with friends, or as a family group, you’ll be warmly welcomed. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your finished set of four dried flower baubles, new creative skills, and a deeper understanding of how flowers can be grown, preserved, and transformed into long-lasting decorative pieces. This workshop is ideal as a festive treat, a thoughtful gift experience, or a unique alternative to traditional Christmas activities. We also offer private bauble-making workshops for groups, celebrations, and team events. Please get in touch to discuss bespoke quotes and dates.
