A relaxed day in the countrside discussing the basics of how to design your own growing space. Showing you the tips and techniques to take home your own garden plan. We will cover planting systems; growing efficiently and sustainably; creating a productive space whilst considering the wildlife that shares your plot with you.
1. Assess and map your own space: Come with the basic measurements of your space and we will help you to plot the best places to grow the produce that you want. Teking home your own garden design.
2. Explore a systems approach that can be applied to any site, any size: The skills we teach you will be transferable to any space you have now or in the future meaning that you can continue your edible journey to your next space or expand the one you currently have.
We will teach you systems that will make your growing time efficient and sustainable.
3. Design your own edible space, with wildlife and pest management integrated: Not only will you leave with a plan of what edibles to grow where and when, but we will help you to know which plants and methods to use in order to introduce natural pest management and encourage wildlife.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
An informal and enjoyable day on our country smallholding with plenty of time to chat and learn more about growing edible plants.
A relaxed workshop to give you the basic knowledge of how to map and design your own growing space, with a draft design to take home. What ends up in your design is lead by you; we will tailor your plans to the needs and wants for your space.
