Whether you're ultra creative or a total beginner, our friendly workshops are designed to teach you a variety of techniques, raise your confidence and inspire you to get wrapping ...No unsightly sticky tape in sight!
Our workshops guarantee expert tuition, quality materials, stunning venues and a lovely day to remember with professional tutor, Jo Thompson expertly guiding you through a variety of gift wrapping techniques ...yes, even those really awkward shapes and hard to do bows! She'll also share with you her wealth of experience, from what materials to use, to some rather clever ‘tricks of the trade’.
Our workshops are designed to work to the seasons too, so whether you join us for a Spring or Christmas workshop you'll learn the same fabulous techniques but will enjoy working with colours and decorative touches relating to that particular season.
And most importantly, you'll learn hands on! Our small groups are designed to ensure all our students can learn with confidence in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, taking home the skills to put into practice time and again.
Once you’ve been on one of our courses, wrapping your presents will never be the same again.
Book on your own or with friends.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to current pandemic we are not running this course in 2020 but are taking 'interest' for Spring or Christmas 2021 so please let us know if you are interested and you will receive priority at the time of booking.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
We offer complimentary refreshments on arrival at all our venues and we have a short break during the course for a delicious lunch of sandwiches and cream tea. (Everything stops for tea doesn’t it?... Even gift wrapping!)
All materials, expert tuition and some items to take home with you are also included in this workshop.

This course surpassed my expectations and I would readily attend another. The course was held in a lovely, old stone hotel right next to Ripon Cathedral and the service was very good from the start - both the hotel staff and Jo/Julie. Jo & Julie had everything well prepared and, from the start, Jo gave clear explanations as to what we were doing. The pace was good - in some courses, it can be tedious when waiting for the next step but not on this course. At the outset, we were shown how to wrap a box - that might seem obvious but I learned the tricks as to how to do it properly. We learned how to wrap those awkward shaped presents & excellent & easy ways to decorate. It was an excellent way to switch off and tap into your creative side. I would highly recommend it others and look forward to attending another course in 2018.
