Clay Christmas Decorations using Translucent Parian
Description
An introduction to using Parian clay: make fine, white Christmas decorations that glow. Make festive decorations from fine, white Parian clay. Add textures and imprints that will 'glow' when hung in front of your tree lights or in a window. Emma will share her tips and tricks for working with the clay and has a bucket full of seasonal shaped cutters for you to use. Due to the beautiful translucent quality this clay has once fired, we will be leaving these plain and unglazed so the textures and imprints you make work with the light. This session will be a relaxed, fun activity to get you in the festive spirit! Suitability: Adult & 12+. Beginners & those with experience. Duration: 2 hours. Book early to avoid disappointment. Bring your friends or family.

FAQs
Most workshops are fully inclusive of materials but please do check the listing information to make sure.
We always recommend bringing an apron or old shirt if you are doing a potentially messy activity. We do have disposable ones available if you forget.
Hot drinks are available but you are welcome to bring your own if you desire.
If you have a booked a full day workshop, lunch will usually be included. Please let us know of any dietary requirements you may have, or if you would prefer to bring your own lunch along.
We can also book tables at the Barn Café on site, on your behalf, so please ask if you would like a table before or after your workshop.

We are situated 1 mile off the A12 from the Dobbies Garden Centre roundabout.
There is parking on site.
Please go the rear of the complex and use the parking area beyond the café and antiques centre if possible.
If you required a disabled parking place, please let us know ahead of your workshop and we can arrange for a space closer the entrance.
