Box or tub making

Description

This is a more complex course and a higher level of skill will be expected before undertaking this course. You will need to be able to proficiently measure and cut leather along with having a reasonable command of the Saddle Stitch. If you're making a box, you will learn how to measure and cut accurately, cut mitres to create a mite joint and of course, box stitch. If you're making a tub, you will learn to measure and cut accurately, cut circles and learn to box stitch creating the ends of the tub. One day will not be long enough to complete a full box or tub, but you will gain an understanding of the required skills.
