FAQs

Yes, if you have already done some botanical printing and natural dyeing then please do contact me to discuss what you are looking to work on or develop in your skills.

If you want to book your workshop within a short stay break, you will find plenty to do locally. There are beach walks, shops, forest walks, places to eat out, pubs and pretty much everywhere is dog friendly.

Yes, as Southwold is a popular tourist destination there are many variable priced accommodation options both near and further away.

Not personally as there are many good food outlets just 5 minutes walk from my home and I like to support the local economy which is heavily dependent on tourism.

I can accommodate 2 people in my home studio.

Not at present as my skills are not sufficiently developed in indigo dyeing to guarantee results.

Yes you can provided that it is made from cotton, linen, silk, wool and some viscose fabrics. The more complex the structure of the garment the more problematic the bundling can be, so the simpler the better if you are a beginner printer/dyer. You can always contact me in advance to check the suitability for any garment you wish to print.
