Description
This course offers an introduction to the art of traditional Korean patchwork or ‘Bojagi’. The course includes two kits; in the morning Magenta will teach the basic technique with all participants working on the same pattern. In the afternoon participants may choose a kit from a selection. The morning session also includes a brief introduction to Bojagi, its use and cultural significance. The 3D course teaches more unusual techniques and the making of a variety of basic shapes and then joining them to make more structural forms. Additional kits and various silks, ramie and thread will be available for purchase separately on the day.

Cambridge makers provides all tuition, tools and materials including a selection of fabrics, needles and thread (which you can take home), tea, coffee and biscuits. You will need to bring a packed lunch.
