Silverclay Taster Workshop - Newcastle

X

Description

Silver clay is a remarkable material made of fine silver particles mixed with a non-toxic, water-based binder. It feels and works just like traditional clay, allowing you to shape, texture, and form it with ease. Once dried and fired, the binder burns away, leaving behind a piece of solid fine silver (.999) — even purer than sterling silver (.925). Finished designs can also be combined with other metals or materials for unique effects. In this workshop, you’ll learn all the essential techniques to start working with silver clay and gain the confidence to continue creating beautiful jewellery at home.
