Week one will introduce you to the many creative ways in which you can utilise pattern and texture on the knitting machine. There will be continued emphasis on contemporary design to inspire your techniques and knit swatches. Week one course, start date Monday 4th September and will continue on 5th, 6th, 7th 8th, - and then the second week 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th September • Learning how to fit and measure for your garment. • Calculating a tension swatch accurately. • Trim and edge variations.• Pocket ideas.• Buttonhole techniques You have the choice of designing your own garment or knitting from a choice of ready to follow patterns.

Yarn to knit with, Knitting machine is provided but feel free to bring your own.
