Making jewellery is extremely satisfying, as anyone who has experience of this will tell you! The courses listed below vary widely in price, length, and topic - but wherever you are in the UK - whether you fancy silver-smithing, beading or experimenting with metal clay, there will be a jewellery making course to suit you!
My workshop space is a cosy wooden cabin in my garden where it is fully equipped with everything you need to make your rings, along with full 1-2-1 tuition and support throughout the process.
You can make rings in sterling silver or 9ct gold. Rings can be D-shape, court, round or flat shaped bands.

A foundation course in jewellery making giving you a thorough grounding in many processes used in the production of jewellery and the opportunity to develop personal skills in the use of hand tools. This short course will give you the confidence to develop your own ideas enabling you to create a piece of jewellery to take home. A full introductory course in 2 days - all day Saturday & Sunday 10am - 5pm.
Our weekly classes run over 12 weeks either as daytime classes or evening classes. The daytime classes run on Tuesdays or Thursdays and are alternate weeks from 10am - 4pm ( i.e six six hour sessions over 12 weeks )
The evening classes run on Tuesdays or Thursdays and are every week from 7pm - 10 pm ( Tuesdays) or 6.30 pm - 10 pm ( Thursdays )

Come along and join us to make your own unique artful wire bird sculpture.
You will choose from a variety of wires, steel, iron, copper and aluminium to create your bird. Full guidance and support will be given to create the features of your bird such as feet, body tail etc.

This is a fun workshop with the aim of helping participants to have the confidence to play with their crochet techniques and work in a more freeform way. Participants will make a small crochet piece without the aid of a pattern, which they could use as a key charm, bag decoration or brooch. Various techniques will be shown including bullion stitch, frills, loops and beading.

Join Stephanie Gaston for a day learning how to a piece of woven jewellery using wool on a wire base.
You may choose to turn the finished piece into a necklace, brooch or small hanging. You will probably be able to make two small pieces on the day which can be finished off at home if necessary. All materials are included.
No experience of weaving necessary. Refreshments provided but please bring a packed lunch.
