Janice reviewed: Two day wood carving course at Middleton Hall

"Great way to spend a weekend, learn a new skill and take something home from it. Instruction was first class and friendly. Setting was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to learn something new. Thank you."

Charles Tye reviewed: Two day dry stone walling course for beginners in association with Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain

"A great introduction to an old craft. Excellent tutors, a good bunch of fellow students and a fine looking wall at the end of it. In my unbiased opinion. All conducted in a fantastic landscape which is enhanced by the walling throughout."

Sharon reviewed: One day fused glass course at North Norfolk Stained Glass

"Attended this course yesterday and met some lovely other attendees in a very calm atmosphere. Paul was super informative and attentive, and very patient. I love my piece of glass and it was fascinating how different, yet beautiful each piece was. Thank you Paul. "

Anna Brooker reviewed: Spoon carving in the woods

"Fantastic workshop! Suz was very patient with our somewhat questionable skills and carefully explained each technique. Very calm, mindful atmosphere sitting in a clearing in the bluebell wood, whittling away. Very happy with our slightly wonky first attempts at spoons and ordering some whittling tools this week! Highly recommended! "

The Coppice Co. responded:

"Thank you Anna! Best of luck with your continuing spoon journey!"

vivien meadows reviewed: Abstracting the Landscape in Acrylics - Workshop

"An inspiring interactive workshop building on our skills with encouragement, advice and new ways of tackling lines, paint and materials. Took me forward another stage from where I’d arrived at though Lynn’s 12 week course. Really helpful working with a small group and working with others. Broadens my understanding of landscape too"

Mike Cooper reviewed: Blacksmithing Beginners day courses in Yorkshire and the North East

"Along with two friends we attended Ade’s fantastic Blacksmith Course near Yarm. A warm welcome with coffee followed a comprehensive H&S talk and then we were away with our first project. Ade & Andy provided help and humour all day showing how to get the best results from our time at the furnace. Debbie’s lovely food was served with a smile & the lunchtime added to the feeling of camaraderie amongst the group. At the end of the day we had two nice projects to show off at home and a lot of laughs along the way. Highly Recommended for anyone to attend. "

Jeff Carter reviewed: Glass blowing for beginners with Jon Lewis

"Really enjoyable experience - it's not as easy as he makes it look but you start to get the hang of it towards the end, which leaves you definitely wanting another go! After learning the basics of handling molten glass and making a few glass pebbles you soon move onto adding colours and blowing shapes. Jon talks you through everything and works very much at your pace so it never feels like you're being rushed onto the next thing - thoroughly recommended."

Laura reviewed: Fused Glass Introduction with Manchester Stained glass

"I loved the Fused Glass workshop! I have done other workshops with Sharon and really enjoy her approach - just the right balance of demonstrating the skills needed and then letting us loose on all the beautiful materials . The Fused Glass class is especially good in that regard as there is an array of glass products to use- not just the sheets of flat coloured glass - which really did it for me! Such an enjoyable afternoon - as usual the small group setting meant that I could get help whenever I needed it - and I was really pleased with the piece I made."
