After finishing my degree in Herbal Medicine, I set up Herbal Harmony in 2005 and began making natural skincare to treat my clients and sell to customers. Over the years I developed & extended my product range into hand creams, face creams, lip products, cleansers, cold process soaps and felted soaps.
I’ve recently moved from Dorset to Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire and teach a range of Soapmaking and skincare classes alongside making my own natural soaps and cosmetics.
"This was an excellent and enjoyable course. Cat is a lovely and knowledgeable person who delivers a well organised , information rich and fun day followed up with full written information so that you can continue soap making for yourself. Would thoroughly recommend it. "
"I've just done this course and had a really great time. Cat is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent tutor, she talked us through the process of soap making and then made a demonstration batch. In the afternoon we made our own two batches of soap with constant help and advice from Cat. She had a wide range of colours and essential oils for us to choose from plus high quality basic ingredients. The whole thing was really enjoyable and highly recommended. I'm still curing the soaps I made, but they are looking very promising. The course was much better than trying to learn from a book, and Cat is endlessly patient and really knows her soap making!"
"I really enjoyed the course . Easy to follow instructions, everything was provided . The course was fun and informative. Would love to do this again "
"This was an excellent course. Cat, who hosted the course, was interesting and gave lots of information both oral and a very full written hand out. She talked us through the soap making process, then demonstrated, then helped the group make our own, giving us all a choice of what method we used and what perfume or pigment to use in our own soaps. It was a small group of us, 5, but the maximum in any group is 6 so there is never too many that you can't get Cat's attention.
Breakfast and a light lunch were included along with hot drinks, which came from the fabulous Iford Manor Cafe, which were delicious. "
