I have always enjoyed making things and teaching others so both the woodwork and upholstery workshops are a joy. I make footstools to commission, teach weekly upholstery classes and run the one day workshops once a month. Everyone enjoys coming to the classes and workshops and it's a lovely space in a countryside setting.

"I arrived feeling inadequate and left feeling like a million dollars. Sue has a lovely way of teaching which helps you understand what you are doing in the long term. The whole day was so very pleasant and Sue also provided a wonderful lunch. Would highly recommend this course. Thank you Sue. "

"My mum and I had a lovely day with Sue and 2 other ladies. It was really interesting not only to learn how to make our own footstools but also watch the more advanced projects the other 2 were on with. Sue, her partner, dogs and horses all made us feel very welcome and Sue made a delicious hot lunch for us all to eat in her cosy kitchen. Highly recommended."

"I really enjoyed the day, learning some core woodworking skills and putting them into practice making a shelf unit. The tuition, well appointed workshop, lunch and views were all excellent. I was particularly impressed with the organisation and forethought that had gone into planning the day. "
