"A wonderful day spent creating an embroidery of a floral print. There was a range of choices in different colours, so we could use the colours that relate to our taste. Rachel’s friendly approach is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience. It is a relaxing day to unwind, enjoy the surroundings and sweet treats… and produce a lovely piece of work to take home. All materials are provided and Rachel is always on hand to answer any questions and help you along. I really enjoyed the day and am pleased with my resulting Spring embroidery! Thankyou "

"I loved this course! The setting was lovely and Rachel is a fabulous teacher who is obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. Her instructions were very clear and easy to follow. She had put a lot of effort into the preparation and provided us lots of tea and biscuits. It was lovely to come home with a finished piece. "The beautiful old watermill is very picturesque and a perfect backdrop for the workshop, the tearoom we worked in is cosy and welcoming with plenty of car parking spaces. This is the second embroidery course I have attended with Rachel and she is very welcoming and extremely well organised. She is a very patient teacher and explains each step carefully resulting in a really enjoyable workshop. I am looking forward to attending more of Rachels workshops and wouldn't hesitate in recommending her courses."

"I attended Rachel Davies' craft workshop and found it to be a great way to get creative, providing both mental and physical stimulation, and a useful opportunity to meet people. I attended the Bunbury Weaving Workshop to get some help to start off a new hobby, and I made new friends in the process. Rachel specifically aimed her teaching to be inclusive and in particular I found it easy to follow, being visually impaired.. It was a fantastic and fun activity and just one of the range of workshops that Rachel teaches. It was great that this activity of beautiful bag weaving could be carried out by all ages and abilities and it did not matter that I have limited mobility. Not only was the workshop enjoyable, it added much needed variety to my day, and I was actively encouraged to employ the use of my more active senses, such as touch, hand dexterity and skills that I risk losing, if not actively maintained. We all created a beautiful piece of art in the form of a gorgeous handbag, while listening to yoga music, eating treats and chatting with new friends. Plus, the final products was photographed by Rachel and could be given out as gifts!"

"Enjoyed a workshop with Rachel weaving a handbag in the lovely light craft room at Bunbury Mill, with lots of drinks and treats available. Rachel gives clear instructions, is very helpful and I took home a bag ready to line. She also gives a detailed instruction sheet so I can have a try at making another bag at home. Very good value and most enjoyable."

"It was such a lovely session - we learnt how to make the woven bags, various types of handles, fasteners, embellishments and even simple liners. There were lots of materials and fabrics to rummage through to reflect your own personal style. It is simple to do even for complete beginners like me! Rachel is so patient and helpful and even allowed us to take materials home to finish your project should you choose to make a bigger bag than the time allocated allowed. Would highly recommend attending the course as the bags would add a personal touch for homemade presents or small gifts. I will definitely be making more and it is a great Eco project for school too!"

"I really enjoyed learning how to make the woven bag! Rachel is a patient and thoughtful teacher which led to a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. I attended the course by myself, whilst others went with their friends or family - everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I chose to make a larger bag and Rachel ensured I had full instructions on how to complete it and all the materials I needed too. A wonderful morning- thankyou!"
