"Brilliant workshop! Excellent teaching and introduction to mono printing. Armi is just wonderful full of inspiring methods which comes from a huge knowledge of printing processes. All students were incredibly engaged and interested and supportive of each other’s creative ‘masterpieces’ ;-) Great fun worth every penny, the best way to start your day."

"My Sunday morning at No5 was delightful. It is a beautifully calm and inspiring setting. Everything we needed was prepared and Armi gave clear instruction so that we could get started. She went through lots of ideas to get the artistic juices flowing. Coffee and delicious homemade cake were provided. She was on hand to help throughout, if needed, and made suggestions to develop our designs. I went home with some lovely cards and gift tags that I designed and made. When I got home I looked to see which workshop I can book onto next. I can't wait!"

"Thanks Anita, you're very welcome back anytime!"

"The most wonderful studio, garden and house - inspiring in themselves ! The studio is light and airy and very well-equipped - I have extreme studio-envy ! Both lino and foil courses were very enjoyable and I learnt a lot. Armi is lovely, friendly and helpful and is obviously highly qualified. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend / book again."

"I attended the mono-printing course with my two best friends, What a fantastic, inspiring workshop with Armi who is such a great teacher. She made things very easy to follow, fun and exciting to do and we all wished we could have carried the rest of the day. We had a wonderful morning in her amazing studio, stopping for tea and delicious homemade cake. Looking to come back and do another course, it was so inspiring. Highly recommended."

"I don’t do creativity. I always say I don’t have a creative bone in my body but this was for a much loved friend’s birthday so I went along as I’d agreed and I loved it. For the first time ever I understood the fun of creating something you had designed and enjoyed the whole experience. The studio is light and airy in the most amazing setting and Armi is a wonderful teacher, relaxed, happy to repeat if you don’t completely understand and supportive in whatever you are doing or would like to do. I can’t recommend it enough and this was from the most reluctant pupil ever. I will definitely be looking to do more."

"We organised a 60th birthday treat of a foil printing workshop with a group of nurses. Despite most of our total lack of artistic skill Armi’s knowledge and fantastic teaching style meant we all produced work that we were really happy with. The surroundings are beautiful, a delicious cake, really organised work space with a little bag and book to print on and Armi is a delight to learn with. There really isn’t anything that could be improved!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed the lino printing course at Armi's amazing, bright and well equipped studio. She has an etching press and a book press and there are other fascinating looking pieces of equipment that I can't wait to get to use at future courses! I was self conscious of my drawing skills to start with, having not drawn anything for 30+ years, but Armi encouraged us all with various fun drawing warm ups and demonstrations and I was actually pleasantly surprised with my sketches! I was totally absorbed and very happy with my lino prints! The pace was just right for each level and we all benefited from individualised tips along the way. At break time we had coffee and delicious home made gluten free chocolate cake! Thank you for a wonderfully relaxed and productive morning! I'll definitely be back as I've booked to come back with my work mates!"

"My sister and I spent a wounderful morning re- connecting with our childhood love of lino printing, gently guided and inspired by our fabulous teacher Armi. Her workshop was really good fun, inclusive, informal and inspirational. Armi gave us the confidence to try new ideas and approaches through positive encouragement, demonstrations and plenty of source material to work from. Her studio is well equipped, full of really interesting found objects and a great range of equipment, making for a really immersive experience - and the cake! Heaven!"

"Well organised course in a bright, inspirational setting. The teacher gave a well informed introduction with some simple warm up exercises to put everyone at ease. There was a range of experience and ability in the studio, but with Armi’s encouragement everybody went home clutching several prints, with which they were all thrilled. A fresh coffee a slice of homemade chocolate cake was a bonus. A lovely morning."

"Attended morning Gelli Printing Workshop on morning of 18 May 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed the session for many reasons, many of which reinforce the views expressed by other Reviewers. The location is stunning with its own separate workshop full of inspiring pieces and all the tools, materials, equipment you could possibly need. It was fun and great to learn something new. Also very good value for money. Armi has loads of experience to share and was very hospitable, an excellent tutor. She was well organised and had planned the session very well - she was encouraging and assisted with getting the creative juices flowing. Armi also providing helpful hand-outs and some cards/envelopes to take away for mounting our prints. Cake provided was also delicious. Would definitely like to attend another course or organise a private session with some friends to do some more Gel Plate Printing."

Armi supplied an enormous amount of materials, paints and papers. The afternoon was a delight especially with the added benefit of tea and homemade cake!"

"I had such a great time at Armi's workshop. The location is incredible and the workshop was really informative. We were greeted with tea's and coffee's and homemade cakes! I am interested to visit Armi's studio again for book-binding and intaglio printmaking. It's a great way to meet new people and explore a new place. Hampton Court is so lovely, you could spend the whole day there exploring and end up at No 5's Workshops for an afternoon of printmaking. Really great workshop!"

"I attended this class with my two nieces and nephew and we came away absolutely buzzing with excitement! It was a great class and Armi is a fantastic teacher. We learnt something really fun and new but also came away infused with confidence and full of ideas, plus handfuls of artwork to show off. Armi was incredibly welcoming and started off the lesson with a few drawing exorcises that got us going and gave us tonnes of confidence to start creating prints straight away. I've never done anything like this before and at the ripe old age of forty something discovered that I'm not actually so terrible at drawing after all! The young ones (teen's) had so much fun and declared it the 'best Christmas present ever'. My nephew showed his work to his art teacher at school who was most impressed and has been told that he can include it in his GCSE art portfolio. He has declared that printing his favourite medium. What more can I say? It was utterly brilliant, the setting was perfect and inspiring, Armi has the dream studio and it was an utter pleasure spending a few hours in there. Nothing compares to the generosity of those who share their knowledge and build confidence in other people; thank you Armi. :O)"

"A fantastic & inspiring workshop from Armi! We had a wonderful morning doing some initial drawing exercises followed by a well demonstrated lesson in creating mono prints. Armi showed us a small powerpoint & lots of samples to give us inspiration before we started creating! She has an extremely well stocked supply of exciting papers & ephemera that we were able to use in our designs. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, with generous space to work in. Combine all that with some amazing cake & coffee.....just a wonderful creative morning! Can't recommend it enough!"

"What an inspiring, fantastic afternoon. I had so much fun and learned oodles about mono and gelli printing. Armi allows you to develop your print with as much or as little help as required. She is passionate about printing and it shows in her work and teaching. I'm utterly thrilled with the pieces I produced and I am looking forward to the Armi's art booklet stitching course. The venue is as equally as inspiring as the course. Design-led, light and airy studio - simply stunning. And, the refreshments.... wow! Home-made cakes – artisan, delectable, moreish!"

"The setting for the course is inspirational and the workshop is very user friendly with all tools and materials readily at hand to use as needed. I attended a one day course on jelli printing. I had never seen this media being used before so I was a complete novice. The course starts with a short powerpoint presentation covering the key aspects of the skill and then Armi shows everyone how to get started and you're off. The numbers were small enabling Armi to give all members of the course exactly what they need throughout the day. If you get stuck or need to be shown something again or if you need inspiration Armi is at hand to help you along. By the end of the day I had produced some really lovely prints and also learnt how to stitch some of the prints into a little booklet. We stopped for a delicious lunch. In addition to what I learnt and took home (feeling very pleased with myself) I also met some lovely people who were on the course too. All in all a brilliant day out!"
