Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!

"I wanted to say a massive thank you to From Loft to Loved for hosting the sea glass pendant workshop on Saturday 27th Apr 24 and an even bigger thank you to Lindsay Forbes for making it such an informative and fun morning. As my first session of this type and also the first time I had been to From Loft to Loved, I have to say the workshop not only inspired me but gave me the confidence to have a go at home. The shop also was a source of great inspiration. Thanks for a fun Saturday morning spent in not only a mindful task but also a productive one. "Lovely couple of hours making sea glass pendants. We were taught three different techniques with great patience from Lindsay and came away with 5 lovely sea glass pendants to add to chains. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning and look forward to doing additional classes "

"Fantastic location. Lyndsey was great. Very friendly and helpful. We were shown 3 different designs and tried each one making some lovely jewellery. All wire, tools and seaglass provided, even a cup of tea and biscuits. Would like to do more designs."
