During this SAORI Taster you will be shown how to use a SAORI loom and shown a selection of weaving techniques which will enable you to weave your own unique weaving sample. You will be encouraged to explore your inner child, express your natural creativity and discover your artist's voice. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a go at SAORI weaving and spend an enjoyable couple of hours away from the stresses of everyday life. No experience required and all ages welcome from 6 years old! A wonderful gift experience! "Hi this is Amanda, owner of BEAUTIFULcloth SAORI Studio. I am a mixed-media Textile Artist, with a background in Social Psychology, Education, Interior Design, Textiles and more recently (2015) trained in Japan, to become a registered SAORI Weaving Instructor and supplier of SAORI looms and equipment. I am passionate about empowering individuals of all ages to explore their creativity for personal enjoyment and self-expression, in a caring and sharing supportive environment. I have qualified teacher status and experience teaching all ages and levels from reception to undergraduates. I look forward to sharing with you the joy of SAORI weaving."
