Description
An exploration of Polzeath, Cornwall, guided by the legacy of Carl Jung's 1923 visit. This two-part program blends historical insights with creative expression, offering a transformative experience for individuals interested in psychology, art, and personal development. We will start with a guided walk and I will tell you the stories and locations significant to Carl Jung's visit, transporting you back to a pivotal moment in his intellectual journey. You”ll gain an understanding of Jung's groundbreaking work on the human psyche and the profound influence of the Cornish landscape on his thinking, why he came here and with whom. After the walk we will follow in the footsteps of Jung's creative exploration documented in his "Red Book," and delve into the world of mandalas. Since giving up full-time teaching I have been discovering how to draw on beaches. I'm happy to share this knowledge with anyone who wants to learn too. I am based in North Cornwall but sometimes in and around Cardiff and for group bookings I am happy to travel to your local beach if I can. Most of my work is based on sacred geometric designs that are relatively easy to produce on your own, although of course it's much more fun to work with others. I can show you how!
