"Thank you Lucy (Studio KinKou) I’ve had a lovely and productive time learning the art of Kintsugy from someone who loves her craft. Your warm hospitality, tasty homemade banana cake , T & C was greatly appreciated. Going fwd I look forward to practicing what I learned repairing the old broken Japanese vase 🏺 to large to bring with me to the workshop. "

"I did a Kintsugi course run by Lucy yesterday, it was really well organised, clear instructions and we all came away with a completed Kintsugi bowl. I’d taken a couple of broken items, a jug which I repaired with Lucy’s help and a large dish which she told me how to repair at home. So I very happily came away with a bowl, my repaired jug and the knowledge to be able to repair the dish. She even sold kits with everything, so no struggling to find the right tools and materials for your next project. "

"Lucy was a great tutor from start to finish. Brilliant communication when booking the experience. Lucy responded quickly to emails when I requested information and sent a reminder about the course a few days prior to the date with useful information about finding the venue. Her clear and patient instruction and demonstration was great as was her sense of humour and ability to put students at ease. She used both class and individual tuition which enabled students to work at their own pace. Thank you for a great experience Lucy, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in your lovely workshop."

"This Kintsugi afternoon workshop was really enjoyable and the time just whizzed past! I took a rather ambitious broken vase to repair, but Lucy was very encouraging and supportive and I completed the project I took with me. I am really delighted with the finished item, and my cat has been banned from going anywhere near it again. The process is interesting and I would recommend having a go. The rural venue is beautiful and a lovely place to spend a few hours. "

"Absolutely fabulous workshop with Lucy today at her studio in the most beautiful surroundings. We took part in the Kintsugi workshop which was a lot of fun as well as informative. Lucy knows her art and the philosophy of Kintsugi is at the forefront. There's also time for tea and cake (Lucy bakes! Which was a lovely surprise) and we have something stunning and a new skill to take home. Can't recommend highly enough! Only regret was not bringing my broken dip dish to repair!"

Studio Kinkou responded:

"Thank you, it was lovely to meet you all. You were a fun and very talented group. "
