"Nadine is very knowledgable and generous with her expertise, and lead the group in a relaxed and informal way. She first explained the materials and the different experimental techniques we could use to achieve our designs, then guided us and discussed how different glass elements in the compositions we had made would perform in the kiln. I really enjoyed this approach as it meant that the workshop was very open and everyone came out with very individual pieces. I'd love to go back very soon :)"

"A really enjoyable workshop - highly recommended. Nadine explains how to work with glass clearly and has a relaxed, very friendly manner. While there are many examples that could be used as templates for your own work, Nadine encourages everyone to experiment and develop their own ideas for colour and design, and is always on hand to offer advice and help on how to realise these objectives, moving easily between all of the participants in the workshop individually. It was really interesting seeing how differently each person used the various kinds of glass available, and the very different designs that we all produced. I was very happy indeed with the coasters that I created that morning."

"I had a wonderful and insightful class with Nadine who was welcoming and well prepared. We sat in the beautiful garden with plenty of space between participants, overlooking the gorgeous canal. Nadine’s knowledge and interest in fused glass was infectious, I personally felt like I learned about both the history and the material before even getting to the creative part. Nadine’s guidance when coming up with compositions, mixing materials and also the technique was expert to say the least - I had a really lovely day and have come away with a new skill and inspiration to do more. "I had the best time doing this course. Nadine is a great teacher, a good balance of hands on and hands off support, which gives you space to experiment if you wish to whilst you are learning. I enjoyed the fact the stages were clear, from drawing designs, to cutting glass effectively, before being let loose with all the wonderful colours, textures and your imagination, to create (in my case) some coasters which I was totally thrilled with. Highly recommended on every level."

"I was purchased this class for a birthday present and it was fantastic. Nadine was very friendly and chatty and gave us all a brief of how to design and cut glass. I walked away with 4 very impressive looking coasters which I have proudly displayed and are being used as coasters in my home. I never thought I could achieve anything half as good but with Nadine’s guidance and the inspiring surroundings of the studio we were in, for someone never having touched this craft before, I came out with something far better than ever imagined. I highly recommend her class. Not the cheapest activity but it is absolutely worth every penny."
