"As someone new to the world of mosaics, I wasn't sure what to expect. I needn't have worried. Thanks to the gentle coaching and expert advice of Jackie, I had a great day at her workshop in the tranquil setting of Blackwell. In fact, I enjoyed myself so much, I ended up going back a second and third time! The course is structured so that you're able to walk away with something you've created on the day - and, if you don't finish, Jackie bends over backwards to help make sure you get your piece completed. The best tribute I can give her is that it helped to fire a real interest in me, and a real desire to carry on producing new mosaics. Oh, and just so you know, Jackie does a fine lemon drizzle cake that she wheels out for tea breaks!!!"

"This turned out to be one of my best days ever! I was full of trepidation because I am not artistic and I had received a voucher as a present. Jacky is a brilliant teacher, her workshop is spacious and well stocked with beautiful colourful mosaic tiles. She guided me expertly through the process and gave help as it was needed. She provided copious amounts of tea and one of the nicest cakes I have had in ages. Best of all I finished up with 2 lovely mosaic pieces that I shall treasure. I would recommend this as an excellent day for all ages. Thank you Jacky"

"My mum and I attended Jackie’s mosaic workshop and had a fantastic time. She was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. There was a great selection of materials and she encourages everyone to make a unique mosaic. The day passed really quickly and we all ended up with amazing pieces. I would recommend this to anyone whatever your ability. The end results are great and it’s interesting to see the different stages and how it takes shape throughout the day."

Jackie Nash was recommended to me by someone that had been to a workshop. The choice of materials are amazing and I can’t wait to book another workshop with her. The home made lemon drizzle cake was lovely, in fact during the course of the day it was so good I had two slices!"

As well as helping us with ideas and assisting in the construction of our mosaics, Jackie was also the perfect host providing plenty of coffee accompanied by her delicious homemade cake. "We booked a day mosaic workshop for our work's Christmas get together. It was absolutely brilliant! Jackie is a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher as well as being loads of fun and the maker of delicious cake! We were well supplied with drinks and cake all day. It was great to learn a new skill and produce something beautiful to take home. I thoroughly recommend the workshop. It is good value for money and fantastic as a team building exercise. "What a wonderful day! Jackie is an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher. I have little craft ability yet came out of Jackies workshop with an excellent piece of artwork. Jackie is so creative she makes it seem easy. Her workshop has a huge variety of materials to choose from which makes anything in your mind become a reality. On top of all that I found Jackie to be so friendly and welcoming. She offered a constant stream of cups of tea all day and even home made cake, she just makes you want to go back again and again!!"

"What a fabulous experience. I booked myself and two friends to attend one of Jackie's courses, and what an absolute ball we had. Jackie was so friendly and approachable from start to finish, making us feel really welcome and very relaxed. She inspired us with lots of ideas, and was constantly on hand to help us, except when she was bringing us the most wonderful banana cake, scrumptious !! I can't thank Jackie highly enough, and would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone who wants to step out of the stresses of life, and take a day for themselves. I didn't believe I could make something I would be really proud of, with Jackie's help, I now know I can."

"Rose, Helen and I enjoyed a day in Jackie's wonderful workshop as a celebration of Rose's special birthday! At the beginning of the day, Jackie gave us an introduction to mosaics and helped us plan our designs. There was a huge choice of coloured tiles for the artwork and the equipment was good. Once we got 'stuck in', it was a relaxing way to spend a Monday. We took our own lunch and drink which Jackie served when we were ready. There were plenty of other drinks available. Thank you Jackie!"

"I did the one day mosaic workshop with a friend and had a lovely time. Neither of us had ever done mosaics before; I managed to mostly finish my piece (with spare materials to take home to complete) and observed the grouting technique (I've yet to try it on my piece). Jackie was a trove of information, help, hints and tips! The workroom was bright and pleasant, with shelf upon shelf of interesting tiles. Plenty of tea and cake throughout the day. Overall, a friendly atmosphere resulting in a charming and relaxing day learning a new skill at my own pace; I have every intention of carrying it on to decorate my balcony. ?"
