Course Start DatesFriday 11th December 2020
About the Course
Using the stunning landscape and natural environment of Flatford Mill as inspiration, this practical and hands-on course will introduce you to woodblock printing techniques. We will be using drawing as a starting point for investigating relief printmaking techniques that do not require specialist equipment to produce, and that you will be able to continue in your own time at home. Participants will be encouraged to develop their own designs and to work at their own pace in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The course is suitable for beginners.
By the end of the course you can hope to have:
Developed your observational drawing and design skills.
Be able to work with relief printmaking techniques.
Produce a range of finished prints.
To be able to work safely with materials and processes and be conversant with Health and Safety procedures.
