Wood turning - Two day furniture making course
Description
Fall in love with woodturning!! Anna Nichols is a professional furniture maker and wood turner. Turning with wood for more than 20 years. Starting at school and in her Dad's garage as a teenager. Anna is offering one to one wood turning taster sessions. Allowing the new turner, the opportunity to get maximum amount of time on the lathe. Each class will have a maximum of 3 people.
What's included in the price?
A two day course in woodturning. What will you learn? - Introduction to the lathe, selecting timber and turning chisels. - Learn the basic's of spindle turning and how to use face plates. - Learn how to sand and oil on the lathe. Make a three-legged stool/table or pedestal table to take away with you.

aln furniture is owned by Anna Nichols with 20 years’ experience as a designer/maker. Anna’s workshop is based in Edinburgh. Anna specialises in making bespoke high quality timber products using locally sourced hardwoods. Her work specifically focused on contemporary fine furniture & wood turning.
