Weaving Workshops for Beginners - Tapesty or Pattern weaving

Description

I am teaching weaving courses for beginners on frame looms. 'Creative Weaving' is inspired by freestyle weaving and tapestry techniques to create expressive and decorative textures, and 3D effects like knots and fringes. You will have a chance to experiment with a variety of yarns, including organic and nettle yarns. You will take home with you a small piece of fabric for a wall-hanging as well as a workshop handout. 'Simple patterns for frame looms' is a little more structured and teaches basic but effective weave patterns. Weaving on a small loom can create wonderful woven pieces, perfect for small items like phone pouches or even small cushions.

What's included in the price?

All materials provided. A clear hand-out is included to take away. You can purchase your own loom for £20 during the course.
