Description
Square notebook with a patterned cover. This little book has 64 plain white cartridge pages- 124 surfaces for writing on, hardcovers and a cloth spine. The covers are handprinted in one of my own designs- this one is called houses and was inspired by the cottages on the hill at St Dogmaels. Size 7x7 x 2 cm Comes in its own cardboard box.
How this was made
Hand stitched and bound. I do everything from cutting the paper and board to printing the patterned covers.

I trained at the Surrey institute of Art and Design before moving to West Wales in 2004. I design and print my own papers and make books from them in my studio in an old stone barn. I run courses on many types of bookbinding for groups and clubs- please ask if you would like details. You will find my books at 'Craft in the Bay' in Cardiff and other galleries around Wales.
