If you are interested in learning how to make your own silver stone set ring, along with learning basic silversmithing skills then this is the course for you. The silver ring setting course is suitable for absolute beginners to people with some prior experience who may wish to build upon the skills they already have.
The skills you will learn during the course are how to measure your fingers to cut the correct size copper & sterling silver metal. Students will also learn how to anneal & shape the different metals into the desired jewellery shape, along with learning how to saw, solder & cure the metals before finishing with buffing and polishing them to a high shine finish.
This course is very interactive and continued support is offered throughout the length of the course, whilst at the same time allowing students to work independently.
The course runs for 2.5 hours, on the odd occasion can slightly overrun to enable students to complete the piece of jewellery they are working on.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All of the materials used throughout the workshop are included within the price.
During the course there is an unlimited supply of free tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits available.

I attended the ring making course with my sister and had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. The rings we made are beautiful and by far exceeded our expectations of what we would come away with, being a pair of wannabe jewellery makers. We will be attending another course soon..
