"I have just done a Christmas wreath workshop and I highly recommend it. Sophie was very knowledgeable and very helpful and everyone produced a lovely ( but different) wreath. There was an abundance of greenery and dried flowers to choose from. I hope to go again next year! "

"This is a great course. It's amazing what can be fitted into a morning. I was so chuffed with my wreath that instead of hiding it for a few weeks, Christmas has started early and I've put it straight on the door. Sophie was very clear with instructions and very encouraging. always ready with a quick tweak if necessary. She brought a vast amount of a huge variety of material, some of which I would never have thought of using. Stanwick Lakes is a great venue too. On a nice day you could bring family to go for a walk in the nature reserve and have lunch together in the café."

"My sister and I travelled from Birmingham for this course and it was well worth the journey! We had a fantastic morning and both created beautiful wreaths, despite it being our first time, thanks to great guidance and help from Sophie and a fantastic array of foliage and decorations to choose from. "I had a very enjoyable afternoon indeed and arrived home feeling uplifted. Sophie was a wonderful tutor who ensured that there was a friendly, supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Having demonstrated the main principles she helped us all to be creative. We all went home with a very personalised and individual finished wreath that we had made from the extensive array of materials Sophie provided for us to choose from. It was so good to have enough time to finish the wreath at the workshop and not to return home with it only partially completed (as sometimes happens at some craft workshops) I hope it will be possible to attend other courses at Stanwick Lakes and it would be especially good to learn to create a Christmas wreath nearer the time."

"I arrived with a friend to a welcome from Sophie, our tutor, a voucher for a pieces of cake and a cup of tea. The class started with an introduction and an eplanation of what was available and suggestios about coloiur and texture. There was an abundance of dried grasses and flowers to work with. We all got stuck in with enthusiasm and by the end of the class (2,1/2 hrs) later, all of us had managed to produce a wreath to be proud of. Sophie was great, advising and helping were and when necessary. The promise of another afternoon wreath making with another theme is on the cards. If possible I will certainly be there."
