Description
This is a social spinning group. Bring your spindle or wheel, spin in company with a cup of tea and share your interest with others in the beautiful space of Wayward Weaves Studio in central Stroud. These happen around once a month. Be aware this is not a teaching session as such, so do bring all materials you may need.

Maker
I am an artist and writer with MA Art Psychotherapy. I have been spinning for 23 years and studying natural cycles of the seasons since 1998 with the Ancient Wheel of Wisdom by Lady Colleen Heller. These all come together in my workshops which are creative and nurturing spaces to learn and enjoy the nourishment and connection these activities bring.

There are parking bays outside the shop front for loading/unloading. These are first come first served and may be available.
This is a social group to get together, spin and chat. There is no formal teaching element but plenty of knowledgeable folk around. As it is not a teaching session there may not be spare equipment around, but do bring a spindle to have a go on. There will be beginning spinning courses starting from April 2024.
