Description

Our regular sock knitting workshops have become popular events and each time we offer a basic sock for those new to sock knitting and a more advanced sock to investigate different techniques. At HookedonStitching we are very much part of a friendly community where you will meet and make new friends. This course will run for 2 hours on 3 consecutive Saturday mornings. We can be a little flexible if you are not available for one of the Saturdays, just contact us to discuss how you can make up for a "lost" session. For this course we have chosen a pretty chevron pattern, German short-row heel and a rounded toe (no Kitchener stitch!) for the more advanced knitter. The basic sock as always provides a good basic pattern to allow the new sock knitter to master the skills of using double-pointed needles and turning a heel.

What's included in the price?

The price includes one ball of Opal sock yarn (choose from our extensive range), pattern and tuition over three consecutive Saturday mornings.

At HookedonStitching we aim to provide a warm, welcoming space for you to relax enjoy and learn new craft skills. We run short and longer courses in crochet, knitting and other crafts. Regular weekly workshops run alongside mixed craft drop-in sessions. Yarn and supporting haberdashery is available to buy. We are flexible and respond quickly to customer requests for courses, tuition and events. For example our recent crochetalong has proved popular this year and we're now planning the next.
