Shrink pot workshop at Greenwood Days
Take a freshly felled green log and learn how to turn it into a container for storing items or even drinking from. These pots are a popular item to carve across Scandinavia and are called Krympburkar in Sweden. These wonderful little pots can also be decorated and used in the kitchen for dried food stuffs, for craft items like buttons and needles, or just as a handy place to store your pens. Taught by Paul Adamson. Greenwood Days have been running woodland craft courses since 1998. The course centre is set in a beautiful 90 acre wood in the National Forest on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border.
