Description
Painted furniture is a great way to freshen up your home at a fraction of the cost and brings new life to old pieces of loved or found furniture. While many courses allow you learn great techniques using small planks of wood it is difficult to translate these skills to real items with curves and nooks and crannies. During this one day workshop you will bring a small piece of furniture to revamp such as a chair or occasional table. Using Beautiful Annie Sloan and Colourman Paints and waxes you will learn how to prepare the furniture, paint it and create the distressed look at a fraction of the cost of buying it. The morning will be spent cleaning, preparing and painting your individual piece and in the afternoon you will distress and wax your items. By seeing other pieces painted you will also learn how to work with different style of furniture and get lots of inspiration for your own future projects.
What's included in the price?
All paints, waxes and equipment will be provided all you have to bring is your piece of furniture and an apron. Lunch will be served as well as plenty of tea and cakes throughout the day.
