Sew a crazy Embroidered Patchwork Cuff with Alex Hall
Description
In this workshop, suitable for improving and competent stitchers, you will turn traditional Victorian crazy patchwork on its head and use this versatile technique to create a stylish cuff bracelet embellished with beads and embroidery stitches. Experienced textile artist and tutor Alex Hall will teach you how to connect precious scraps of fabric with Feather Stitch, embellish them with a range of embroidery stitches and join the patchwork to the backing with a simple beaded edging to complete the cuff. You are welcome to bring your own precious fabric scraps, threads and seed beads if you wish but everything you will need to stitch your cuff will be provided. Bring a packed lunch.
