Come along and make a contemporary leather saddle bag in a day! On the course you will learn about different types of leather and how to select the right type for your bag. You will work from a fixed sized and shaped template for your medium sized saddle bag but you will get to choose your leather and thread colour as well as learning how to make and attach an adjustable shoulder strap. If time allows, you may also emboss your initials onto the bag for that personal touch! Please contact me when booking to discuss your requirements. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. Maximum 3 people at my Essex studio. As my classes are very small I can usually be pretty flexible with dates so please get in touch to arrange a suitable date. Discounts are offered for two people booking together.

My designs are mainly influenced by geometric shapes and Art Deco design. I've built up a wide range of skills and now have the luxury of time and space to make my own products and to experiment with techniques and styles. Ultimately though, I love passing on my passion for leather craft to other people by running a series of workshops. I cater for both individuals with 1 to 1 tuition and groups at my Surrey studio or larger groups at other venues so email me if you'd like more information.
