This five-hour experience package is perfect for those looking to make their own wedding, anniversary and engagement rings. Morning and afternoon sessions are available. Whether you’ve been together for 1, 5 or 50 years, a wedding anniversary is a special occasion well-worth celebrating! What better way to commemorate the occasion than with our forge your own ring package? What could be more romantic on your wedding day than exchanging rings you’ve made yourself? This experience isn’t just limited to weddings, the rings could be made for any special event or you could just enjoy learning! Our expert blacksmiths will help you create the rings that will make your wedding, Anniversary or engagement so special. On the day, you and your loved one will get the chance to make and take home two beautiful rings, created at a picturesque forge in the heart of Herefordshire. This experience is very hands on and you’ll get involved in every part of the process, which all add to the sentimental value of your rings. Enjoy a romantic meal delivered to our woodlands area in our Scandinavian or Shepherd Hut by our local family run pub. This is a further cost and not included in the experience package. You may wish to have your rings electroplated Silver, Gold or Rhodium. There is a company we recommend and details can be provided. Forget High Street jewellery! Visit the forge and with the support of our expert team you can design and forge your very own anniversary ring. This is much more than your normal experience day! You can see, touch, smell and experience the life of a blacksmith, taking home whatever you make with us. Be sure to dress appropriately, remembering that in the colder months it can get chilly inside the workshop (despite the fires!) We will be here to meet you on arrival where we will get all of the boring (but essential) bits out of the way. Please bring the completed Health and Safety forms with you, it’s vital they are completed prior to your visit so that you are ready to start your day as soon as you arrive. What's included in the price?
All your PPE will be provided, so you will be all be ready to start your experience day with us! Oldfield Forge Academy is set in most stunning Herefordshire landscapes. We have Shepherd and Scandinavian Huts which you are welcome to use for refreshments or rest time before or after your experience. We welcome you to bring your own picnic from home or, if you wish to order a delicious home-cooked meal from our local pub, please see their menu and order directly with The Garway Moon.
