Description
Create your own punch needle artwork using a wide variety of different colours and textures. Start with a practice using four different types of punch needle tool and four different types of fabric. Once you know what works best for you, you’ll move onto a bigger piece with a good knowledge of the technique. If you’ve caught the bug and can’t wait to keep going there’ll be a variety of tools available to buy so you can keep going at home. No previous experience required. Suitable for 16+

Light refreshments are available throughout the afternoon. Classes are individually priced & include the tools to use in class and all materials, unless otherwise indicated. Each participant also receives a 10% off voucher to put towards our future workshops in Ilkley and York.

Founded in 1906, we are a family firm with shops in York and Harrogate. We specialise in haberdashery and needlecrafting materials and workshops, with an international reputation for stocking over 10,000+ different button designs. Our classes are held in a beautiful beamed room at the top of our medieval building in York and in the Yorkshire town of Ilkley in a converted Victorian double-fronted shop. They are taught by practicing designers and makers with considerable expertise in (and passion for) their respective crafts, and considerable teaching experience.
