Pegloom a Doormat in a Weekend (using your repurposed cotton clothing) Lou Partridge
Description
Repurpose fabrics too worn out for the charity shop into a beautiful, useful and personal mat for your home whilst learning the ancient craft of pegloom in a small friendly group. The first course runs Saturday 27th 11am - 4pm and Sunday 28th April 11am until 4pm latest. The aim is that you will complete your mat to take home at the end of the weekend. We'll take half an hour each day for lunch and please bring a packed lunch.
What's included in the price?
Use of pegloom. Warp threads. Expert tuition. Please collect and bring with you - old cotton jersey and cotton fabrics - these could be t shirts, leggings, vests, pants, bed linen etc. You will leave with your own personal doormat.

Maker
Lou Partridge is an artist, illustrator and creative wellbeing practitioner, specialising in rehabilitation through creative and practical activities. She is passionate about repurposing, Green living and minimum impact crafts with purpose. Lou has much experience in working with those with sight loss, hearing loss, a learning disability, those with mental health issues and elders, so you'll be in good hands if you choose to take one of her workshops or classes.
