This one2one online masterclass is aimed at students with a passion for quality lingerie, who like to learn how to make panties from design to finish like a pro. If you like to launch your own brand , make perfect fitting panties for yourself, friends, family or customers- this course will show you how to do so in your own time. You will receive 2 styles of pdf patterns: 1x classic brief (size options UK 8-10-12-14) 1x classic thong (size options UK 8-10-12-14) pdf sewing instructions live one2one online help (4x 60min) over 8 weeks or as little as 4days in your time zone We suggest to take this course over 4 weeks to get most out of this class This workshop is open to all sewing levels even if you do have little sewing experience. OUTLINE OF THE CLASS: 1st session: -focusing on materials that are needed for sewing panties -how to attach elastics (calculate stretch etc) -how to work with stretch fabrics (how to cut , sew etc) -how to sew a hidden gusset versus commercial gusset -how to sew a brief + or thong step by step 2nd session: -focusing on (your) designs During this session we will look at different panty styles and how to adapt the patterns . How to Add lines, lace appliques or cut out designs etc 3rd session: -focusing on grading Learn how to grade different panty styles to different sizes 4th session: -focusing on fit You will learn hopw to make a master pattern from measurements, so that you can create your own pattern blocks in the future YOU WILL LEARN: -what fabrics work best for lingerie -what needles to use for lingerie -how to sew with stretch fabrics -how to attach elastics -how to calculate your elastics -what stitches to use for elastics / stretch fabrics / laces -lots more sewing tips and tricks from the experts -how to design -how to alter patterns -how to grade patterns -how to make a pattern block from measurements WHEN: ONLINE any time that suits your time zone (please check suitable times) We suggest to join the online session for 4-6weeks or a shorter period if you prefer. The session can be adjusted to your personal requirements After this workshop you should be confident making panties from design to finish SEWING KIT: your sewing kit will include all specialist materials that are needed to make 2x panties(1thong/1x brief) including : -fabrics -elastics -2x bows Your sewing kit will be send to your home - please make sure to order in time to arrive for your first session. You are very welcome to do so: this course is a one2one Live Session and can be personalised to your individual interests and sizes that you like to do.
this course is open to all levels. You do not need any previous pattern cutting skills to join this session.
This session is open to all levels , however we suggest that you know how to use your sewing machine well and did some basic sewing before.
