Becoming the Garden - natural dyeing and crafting
Description
Join me in my creative practice for an afternoon talking about dye plants and dyeing yarns. I will offer a colour walk around the area showing the colours that can be created from what surrounds us. While pots heat over the fire there will be time for you to be in nature or craft in the roundhouse with a cup of tea. Bring a craft project or spinning wheel and favourite mug. Go home with a small skein of freshly dyed yarn. You can participate as much or little as you choose. There will be an open discussion about plant dyes and gathering, you can be hands on or hands off. The time is yours to enjoy and an opportunity to relax as well as learn.

FAQs
The roundhouse is up a couple of steps and accessed through a field from the carpark. The toilets are a short up hill gradient walk and are outside compost toilets up a number of wooden steps. Therefore it may not be suitable for wheelchair users. I do run this course in other venues that are wheelchair friendly, let me know for those dates.
