Description
This is a stunning root clock, unsure of the species as the tree is long gone when I arrived, but a very hard wood, possibly oak or elm as it was so tough to work with. The base of the clock is really hard and took a lot of work to hollow out the root stems. Very happy with the finished product, again another talking point in any home or office. Would also make a nice gift for any occasion. Clock is finished in Danish oil which gives it a nice glow in certain light. Clock is fitted with a quartz, almost silent sweeping movement, all Forest Creations clock movements are guaranteed for 12months from purchase date.
