Description

Very in-depth and involved course, encompassing many resin activities and techniques; Learn how to create the following: Create Resin Art.(using 400mm x 300mm project boards) How to create custom resin worktops. (How to use repeat resin techniques) using 600mm x 400mm project boards) Deep Pour Mould Preparation. Make a solid colour river coffee table top (Approx 800mm x 500mm) When complete, clear coat the river table top. Make a solid wooden coffee table top, finished with clear resin. Learn how to clear coat resin on wood How to use resin with silicone moulds How to create freestyle resin products using freestyle moulding. Learn how to select the right resins to use. Learn how to mix resin correctly. Learn how to add, pigments, metallics and acrylic paints, spray paints. Learn how to calculate how much resin/paints are required for every project. Learn how to “MATT” resin When and how to use Isopropyl & De-natured alcohols. How to use dyes. Learn what to charge for your work. This course will give you all the knowledge you will need to create beautiful resin products on almost any project you undertake. This course can also be considered as a “ life skill “ and many of our students have now created enterprises of their own. This course is one of, if not the most in-depth course in the country, providing access to many years of experience, tips - tricks and techniques of the resin industry. All items you make are yours to take home, course notes are also provided at the end of the course. All materials are provided and included into the course fee including, all wood, all project boards, all resins, paints, pigments, Alcohols & Dyes, PPE & light refreshments.

I have been making clocks for 8 years, I started incorporating Resin & Resin Art into my clocks in 2013. I have trained in both vertical and horizontal resin applications and now use resin in many applications; Wall art, Counter tops, tables & small furniture items, jewellery and of course still on my clocks.
