Description
A zip bag is a brilliant beginner's sewing project and you can never have enough. Whether it's a make up bag, a pencil case, a coin purse or a bag for plugs and phone chargers when you're travelling - they are just really useful! Join us to make one or two and learn the skills to make more at home. During this workshop you will learn: - How to set up your sewing machine - and some trouble shooting - How to understand the different qualities of fabric - How to sew and finish seams neatly - How to insert a zip - How to insert a lining Our studio is in a beautiful converted oast with exposed beams and gentle views across the farmland. Filled with mouth-watering aromas from The Oast Bakery, where Alison prepares our delicious refreshments, this is the perfect place to escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy some creative time for yourself. Our aim is to offer the chance to unwind, learn a new skill and meet like minded people whilst enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake.
