Discovering the Unseen: Learn the art of unveiling the beauty of tiny subjects, from delicate flower petals and insects to intricate textures that often go unnoticed. Mastering Macro Equipment: Gain hands-on experience with specialized macro lenses, lighting techniques, and other essential tools to capture stunning close-ups with precision and clarity. Understanding Composition: Explore the principles of composition specific to macro photography, creating visually striking images that showcase the intricacy of your chosen subjects. Creatitvity in the Studio: Learn to play with light an colour in the studio by using a range of lights and background that create striking images. Expert Guidance: Benefit from personalized guidance and insights from an experienced instructor who share tips, tricks, and real-world experiences in the field of macro photography. Building a Portfolio: By the end of the session you will leave with a mini portfolio showcasing your evolving skills and unique perspective on the miniature world.

What's included in the price?

Bespoke one-to-one guidance with an experienced photographer who has had work featured in BBC Wildlife Magazine, on BBC Springwatch and more. I will loan you a camera setup to use that will be more than enough for you to take great photographs. Please bring your own camera if you have one too. Use of a range of safe live insects and flowers. Please try to book at least a two weeks in advance in order to secure a venue. The venue is included in the price. It is recommended to bring your own lunch and refreshments. We can schedule a break at your leisure.

Absolutely! This is recommended, however to get the most out of the workshop you might need additional accessories that are incompatible with your camera. Borrowing one of my camera setups is included in the price.
