Join our friendly and welcoming weekly online art class for five sessions on Wednesday afternoons. This group is suitable for all, from people who haven’t painted since school, to professional artists. Louise has a wealth of experience and can help you with all areas of art and design. She will encourage and guide you. The online class is a great way to meet people with a similar interest. It’s fun, and people paint and draw together, enjoying a feeling of community as their work develops. Louise started her Art training at North Staffordshire Polytechnic, then did an MA at the Royal College of Art. She worked as a designer in the Ceramic industry, becoming Art Director at The Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company, and now paints, designs and teaches. Every week, you’ll receive a newsletter with plenty of inspiration, new projects that you can join in with and a gallery of work created at our weekly art classes. We’ve explored inspiring subjects during the last year, from Nature, Figures in a Landscape, Pop Art and Impressionism, to Portraits, Flowers, Birds and Buildings. Through these, we learn about composition, colour, perspective etc, in fun, creative and expressive ways. The price is £70.00 for a block of five classes - just pick the date you wish to start and book for that date. You can then attend on 4 further Wednesday afternoons of your choice. Stockton Brook Studios are based in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands. Louise & Mark live in an old farmhouse and have planning permission to create Studios in their large stone barn for art, craft and design courses. While this is being worked on, weekly art classes and workshops are held locally, as well as educational and sketching events in their Wildflower Meadow. Mark is a figurative Sculptor, passionate about drawing and painting, making things and nature. Louise, an Artist/Designer.
