Wooden Block Printing - Learn how to print onto fabric
Description
Come along and learn all about wooden block printing. We'll have a range of paints and stamps so you can create a tote bag, zipper pouch or drawstring bag. You will learn the techniques necessary to produce a beautiful and lasting object. We will teach you basic printing techniques that will allow you to create beautiful gifts. Come along and try something new!
What's included in the price?
You do not need to bring anything, we will supply two items to print (a tote bag, drawstring bag or zipper pouch) per booking. However if you would like to make more than one please bring 1-2 extras. We will have a selection of fabric paints and stamping blocks, that have been kindly donated, but if you have any at home please bring them with you to use. ** We are a small charity devoted to getting people into craft. We aim to keep our workshop price as low as possible in order to make it as accessible as we can. We are always taking in donations of fabric and craft supplies, which we put towards future projects. So if you are clearing out your cupboards, please feel free to bring anything to the session that needs a new home. ** Children (10 years & up) are welcome at the session, but they must be accompanied by an adult (with a separate ticket). If you have any disabilities or support needs we will do our best to accommodate you. Please just drop us an email ahead of time to talk it through.
