Kiln Formed Glass Course: 1 to 1

Description

One or two-day courses in fused and slumped glass, combining glass, colours and metals. Suitable for all levels from complete beginners to more advanced students. The main objective is an introduction to processes and techniques associated with kiln-formed glass. All students will come away with several completed pieces. Classes can be tailor-made for individuals or groups on weekdays, weekends. Fees - Individual £140.00, Group £120.00 per person All materials are included.

"A massive thank you to Ewa for opening her studio to me. The studio is set in a very serene and picturesque location. I had great fun working on glass art with her help and resources. Ewa was very accommodating and allowed me to work on several different pieces with different shapes, sizes and textures. She let me work on my own ideas and gave me thoughts and ideas when needed. It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it! Looking forward to seeing my pieces after they've been fired!"

"Dear Ewa I was very nervous about coming over to Harlow for my glass workshop. I had the BEST day!!! You made me feel very welcome with my first cup of tea. I wasn't sure what to expect as the information my Husband gave me was pictures and a title 'Kiln Fused Glass Workshop'. No written information. You showed me all the different things that it was possible to make and explained how to build up the picture/design I had in my head. I didn't have any specific ideas, my pictures evolved as I tried different ways to put on the glass what was in my mind. I didn't realise that I would be making three pieces to take home. My confidence grew with each piece of glass I decorated. The option to choose different methods to enhance the end result was amazing. I cant wait to see the end result when my work comes out of the kiln! I am looking forward to putting my glass art on display around my home. Thankyou Ewa for making feel so welcome.
